Presentation of the four research awards with digital performance
A light object as the architectural translation for the central topic “Technological Sovereignty” becomes the central staging element for the award ceremony of four outstanding research projects. A violinist as the musical component underlines six emotional scenes as transitions into the respective award ceremony.
Four award winner islands and a central stage are the settings for award winner representatives on site, board members and moderation. The other winners from the project teams and institutes are virtually connected to the event. The audience attends the event digitally via the event platform and can send their personal congratulations to the award-winning teams via a digital congratulation wall.

For each award-winning team, a very own stage in the studio as well as a separate MS Teams channel was established for the on-going presentation of the winning institutes, the project teams and their award projects. Each channel was connected to the respective award winner stage in the studio. The digital participants could either log in directly into the respective channel and engage with the teams there or follow the moderators walking from stage to stage in the livestream, diving into the program highlights of the individual award teams.
A digital event with dynamic setting & camera movements
The Ordinary General Meeting as an internal, annual event of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft was held and staged in a varied setting at the Fraunhofer-Dependance ENIQ. Three board members on site and a moderator led through the agenda topics.
Other senate chairs and speakers were connected to their content-related parts, while the participating members attended digitally and expressed requests to speak via the event platform and voted by means of a voting tool. Dynamic cameras and an exciting lighting concept conveyed an image of lightness, detail and attention.
